Landscapers

Together with Rugby® Manufacturing, Dejana has developed a commanding presence in the landscape industry. Working in close cooperation with Rugby engineering, the two companies have developed a line of landscaper bodies that exceed the industries demanding performance requirements. Our landscaper, Stakeless Landscaper, and VersaRack bodies are designed to meet the toughest standards, while at the same time provide the most versatile and easily accessible body available. In addition, to round-out the line, Dejana also offers a complete line of Solid Stake Side bodies manufactured by Knapheide.

Landscaper Bodies

Our landscaper bodies are available in 9.5’, 12’, 14’, and 16’ lengths, and feature a curbside swing out door with optional drop step. The double latched, 48” wide side door is convenient for easy loading of 44” pallets. The corrugated front panel is 54” high and made from 14 gauge material with pre-fabricated mounting holes for a tarp roll-up cover, should one be used. The sides are corrugated 14 gauge vertical side stakes spaced 24” on center, 48” high.

The rear features 34” meshed barn doors over a drop-down tailgate with easy access to all door handles from the ground. Heavy-duty hinges allow the door to be opened completely and pinned back with snap-action door holders. The bottom tailgate is 14” high and incorporates Rugby’s patented EZ-LATCH™ locking mechanism. The lower tailgate is double walled construction with a 12 gauge inner panel and a 14 gauge outer panel.

Other features include:

• 9.5’ and 12’ bodies have 3 7/8” 10 gauge formed channel cross members on 16” centers interlaced with 9”  7 gauge formed long sills.
• 14’ and 16’ bodies have 4” 10 gauge formed channel cross members on 16” centers interlaced with 7” structural channel long sills.
• Unitized construction of 10 gauge platform decking and rub rail to provide superior strength.
• Recessed, shock resistant rubber mounted lighting to meet FMVSS 108 requirements
• Manual tarp roller
• Backup alarm
