KUV Service Bodies

Knapheide’s KUV Service Bodies are the industry standard for contractors and service providers because of their superior structural integrity, convenient layout, flexibility, and Knapheide’s Exclusive K-Coat rust protection system .The KUV comes in a wide range of configurations for Cab Chassis (CC), Low Cab Forward (LCF), and cutaway chassis styles, to meet the need of nearly requirement.

Other features include:

• KnapTight™ double panel rear cargo doors lock and seal into the body frame. These 20 gauge Galvanneal steel doors have nitrogen gas struts, slam latches, and glass windows with guards
• Two conduit chutes to transport copper pipe, pvc, conduit, etc…
• Master Locking System for peace of mind, locks down all side compartments in one move (optional KnapLock™ keyless entry system also available)
• Rear vertical compartment contains 1 adjustable 250 lb. capacity shelf
• Horizontal compartment contains 1 adjustable 250 lb. capacity shelf (passenger side only)
•  Front vertical compartments contain 2 250 lb. capacity shelves
• Vertical compartment doors employ double spring loaded, over center retainers to eliminate involuntary swing
• Automotive door seal to protect tools and parts from the elements
• “Pry-proof” stainless steel hinges for security
• Spacious cargo storage area for transporting larger tools and oversized items such as water heaters, etc…
• Two interior dome lights in cargo area

• Bodies are available in SRW and DRW designs with CA’s as 56”, 60”, 84”, 108” and 120”
• Body heights range from 62” to 90”
• Interior clearance heights range from 45.1” to 73.1”

KUV for Low Cab Forward

• Bodies are available in DRW designs with CA’s from 84” to 120”
• Body heights range from 68” to 90”
• Interior clearance heights range from 51” to 73.1”

KUV for Cutaways

• Bodies are available in SRW and DRW designs with CA's of 80" & 100"
• Body heights range from 70" to 90"
• Interior clearance heights range from 55" to 75"
