Fisher’s low profile design provides an unobstructed rear view from the vehicle cab. All models are ideal for spreading dry #1 rock salt, calcium chloride and other ice-melting materials.
The MODEL 1000 and MODEL 500 economy tailgate spreaders feature low-profile, high-density polyethylene hoppers with 8 cu ft and 5 cu ft capacities. Both feature 12V DC motors mounted inside a sealed housing in the hopper, a 10" diameter polyurethane spinner and molded polyethylene covers.
MODEL 1000 utilizes a powder-coated steel auger and agitator. It's available with a fixed mount, a dual swing-away mount or a Class IV receiver hitch mount. Designed for compact pick-up trucks or SUV's the MODEL 500 features a direct-drive powder-coated auger and mounts to a Class III trailer hitch. Standard nylon ratchet straps provide added stability. Accessories for both models include a top screen kit and adjustable deflectors. MODEL 1000 can also be equipped with a truck protector flap.
The new MODEL 2500 offers ice control professionals the ultimate in convenience and performance. Standard features include 9.5 cu ft low-profile, high density polyethylene hopper, 12V DC high-torque motor located in a sealed housing in the hopper, 15" polyurethane spinner disk, adjustable feed gate with material flow shut-off, adjustable material deflectors, Class IV trailer hitch mount with nylon ratchet straps and a molded polyethlene cover.

The FISHER® SPEED-CASTER™ 2 tailgate spreader offers the ice control professional a spreader that's ideal for parking lots of any size. It's easily removed from the vehicle without using tools.
Capable of spreading all types of material, including wet sand, the SPEED-CASTER 2 features a 2-stage delivery system with a 16" belt conveyor for positive feed of all materials. The high strength poly hopper has a capacity of 10 cu ft. Spreader height along with the feed gate and deflectors are all adjustable. The SPEED-CASTER 2 also features a 1/3 HP 12V DC motor, 15½" spinner and center high-mounted stoplight (CHMSL).
An in-bed truss mount or an under-bed frame mount which includes a Class IV receiver hitch, are both available

The new FISHER® POLY-CASTER™ spreader combines a rust-resistant double-wall poly hopper with a quiet, maintenance free electric drive system for the ultimate in de-icing equipment. Standard features include a cleated rubber belt conveyor, a quick detach spinner and chute assembly, top screen and hinged plastic covers that also serve as a spill guard during material loading. Spreads sand, salt or sand/salt combination.

The FISHER® PRO-CASTER™ hopper spreaders are perfect for ice control on driveways, roads and parking lots. Available in 7', 8', 9' and 10' body lengths in powder coated steel or stainless steel, these rugged v-box type spreaders mount easily on pick-up, dump or platform trucks.
Conveyor & Drive
•The conveyor on the PRO-CASTER™ spreaders is 16" wide pintle chain. This wider conveyor reduces "bridging" and moves more material for faster unloading.

•A positive chain and sprocket drive for the conveyor system eliminates the streching and slippage sometimes encountered by v-type drive belts when placed under heavy load.

Power Options
•Most models offer your choice of 10 HP I/C Tecumseh or 11 HP I/C Honda® engine. The 8' and 10' models are also available with a hydraulic motor. Gas engine spreaders feature cab mounted electronic throttle control with choke indicator light and electric clutch.
